Interventional Radiology - Cath Lab / Interventional Technologist - Trusted Health - Urbana, IL

Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license prior to placement start.

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

• Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.

Department-Specific Job Functions: -Able to work around and maintain a sterile field during procedures.

-Administers and with holds contrast and treatment as appropriate. -Assess patients for allergies.

-Can pull supplies for procedures.

-Takes late shift duties as assigned to meet department needs.

-Basic knowledge of ECG interpretation.

-Electrophysiology equipment troubleshooting.

-Understanding and running the pacing stimulator during ablations and EP studies.

Required Skills & Experience: -Capacity to learn and retain information regarding patient care and procedures.

-Ability to communicate effectively, follow directions, and complete detailed work accurately.

-Demonstrates compassion and caring in dealing with others.

-Manual dexterity to handle small supplies.

Preferred Skills & Experience: -Previous Radiologic Technology experience in a procedural setting.

Required Education: -Associate’s Degree in Related Field OR -Certificate in Radiologic Technology

-IEMA Radiography License Illinois

Weekend, Holiday shifts: Rotation4

Maximum days off: 7 days

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• VI (Vascular Interventional Radiography)
