Heidelberg Materials is seeking a qualified Area Administrator to join our Georgia Aggregates team.

This role is based in Gainesville, GA, and reports directly to the Area Operations Manager.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Create/Manage Purchase Requisitions
  • Annual Blanket POs and Framework
  • Tracking of Capital and WBS Projects and large purchases
  • MU purchases and non active sites
  • Accounts Payable Functions
  • Vendor Support - Invoice Payment Status
  • Work closely with MU Buyer and AP for research PR, PO, GR, and SES issues
  • Work with GA Buyer on GRIR research and issues caused at plant levels
  • Review weekly Basware report and support field to resolve issues
  • Daily monitoring of Basware task box for all plants
  • Assist with Ariba PR's and Ariba vendor PO overages
  • Resolve failed billing I-Doc issues
  • Support field and buyers with coding, materials groups, cost centers, purchasing channels, tax, etc.
  • Manage accruals and request reclassifications
  • Other
  • Assist Plant Managers with research on PLCEs with research on PLCEs and pulling data for mid month reviews
  • Monitor and assist users with PM completion and status
  • Monitor cash journal to ensure entries are current and MEC balance is accurate
  • Ensure all MEC processes are completed and communicated: Accruals, Fuel Adjustments, Materials Adjustments, Final GR/SES entries, check for unpaid cash sales
  • Backup support for Scales/Plant Clerk functions
  • Assist users with Concur and requesting application access
  • Prepares and transmits weekly payroll
  • Provide administrative assistance to Area Operations Manager as required
  • Training
  • Train new employees and provide on-going support for SAP, Basware, Ariba, AOM, Kronos, JWS, Cashbox and BO reporting
  • Provide communication and support on process changes

What we're looking for:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Minimum of two (2) years previous account receivable experience
  • Ability to work overtime to meet changing deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to maintain a professional approach at all times
  • Ability to work well as part of a team environment, with a comfort level of working independently as required
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Desire and commitment to working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
