HOW A TEST ENGINEER SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
• Responsibilities will include all areas of operation, testing maintenance and repair of the MK 41 VLS and all related equipment
• Supporting overall VLS customer near and far.
• May perform as team lead or as part of a team during shipboard equipment removals, installations, testing, and/or repairs.
• Ensure VLS equipment is maintained and tested to the stringent VLS requirements to maintain National Security.
• Work is generally guided by pre-approved MK 41 VLS Procedures and may require input to develop and recommend procedure corrective actions or improvements.
• Ability to coordinate field engineering teams shipboard or in shipyard environment and resolve scheduling and technical conflicts with customers, vendors, and suppliers.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
• Education: Current VLS TD ISEA/FSR Certification required; no exceptions.
• Required Experience: 10+ years of related experience
• Required Technical Skills: High level of analytical ability to analyze and correct deficiencies on mechanical and electrical MK 41 VLS equipment.
• Security Clearance Level: Secret
• Required Skills and Abilities: Apply MK 41 VLS technical knowledge of electronics principles in order to put equipment in operational condition and solve complex problems.
• Preferred Skills: Ability to solve MK 41 VLS technical problems where investigation and troubleshooting is required.
• Ability to travel up to or greater than 75%
• US Citizenship Required

Salary and Benefit Information
The likely salary range for this position is $97,750 - $132,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
