This role is with the Cognizant Enterprise Integration (EI) and Digital Process Orchestration (DPO) within Enterprise Platform Services Team. Cognizant’s EI &DPO practice is a world leading provider of Hybrid Cloud Integration and Process Automation Services. EI &DPO practice has strategic alliances with “best of bread” platform providers to provide service for Cloud Integration, Hybrid Integration Platforms, B2B Platforms, DPA and Low Code Platforms, and Cloud Integration.

Roles and Responsibilities:
· We are seeking a Lead Developer/Architect with a focus on possessing 9 to 11 years of experience, with a strong background in APIGEE. This role is pivotal in driving the delivery of our digital transformation projects, ensuring high-quality development standards.
· Proven experience in APIGEE and a strong understanding of API management principles.
· Lead the design and development of scalable API solutions using APIGEE to meet business requirements.
· Ensure the delivery of projects aligns with both technical specifications and business needs.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, design, and implement API solutions.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and reliability.
· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team, fostering a culture of excellence.
· Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards.
· Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
· Proficient in agile methodologies and project management tools.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to adapt to changing technologies and learn quickly.
· Commitment to delivering high-quality work within stipulated timelines.
· Knowledge of banking domain
· Proficient in agile methodologies and project management tools.
· Open banking knowledge is preferred.
· Implement requirements of the API layer like security, custom analytics, throttling, caching, logging, monetization, request, and response modifications etc.
· Design and develop API platform to connect to various disparate backend systems for seamless data exchange.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 to 142,200 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
