Lead FileNet Developer – Hybrid

Cognizant Digital Engineering is seeking a leas FileNet developer, responsible for leading a high performing front-end engineering team(s) to build innovative customer experiences for one of our clients. As a leader on the team, this role will work to help the team prioritize, build, and ship the most impactful features to our customers. The ideal candidate is a technical professional who has experience developing incredible customer experiences, while serving as a mentor to help guide and train other engineers on the team.

To be successful as a tech lead, you should be able to evaluate the needs, time limitations, and system limitations when developing software. A stand-out tech lead is one who is up to date on new technologies and software development practices and can translate these skills to their team’s deliverables.

Location: Hybrid at Auburn Hills, MI.

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of FileNet-based solutions to meet business requirements.
• Oversee the design and architecture of FileNet P8
• Case Analyzer and FileNet P8 ,Content Engine systems.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the development team to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for new projects.
• Ensure that all project milestones and deadlines are met within the stipulated time frame.
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues.
• Develop and maintain documentation for all projects, ensuring clarity and completeness.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders and the development team to ensure alignment on project goals.
• Implement and maintain robust testing procedures to ensure the reliability and performance of solutions.
• Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new systems.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the development process.
• Contribute to the company’s strategic goals by delivering innovative and efficient solutions.

Key Qualifications:

Possess strong technical skills in FileNet, FileNet P8 - Case Analyzer, and FileNet P8 - Content Engine.

• Experience in Investment Banking Operations is a plus.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $109,000 - $122,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
