The Role

Our Communications, Media and Technology group is looking for a senior consultant to join our journey and can deliver within Cognizant’s Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence, which are: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. Responsibilities:

• Acts as a proxy between Customer and offshore to Communicate requirements and provide supporting detail regarding product high level.
• Create user stories and specific substories with appropriate documentation to offshore Development and QA teams.
• Responsible for connecting customers Product Lead and Product Managers with offshore resources to successfully build, test and deliver self-service digital enhancement for customer.
• Works with customer resources to refine requirements.
• Must be able to understand and articulate the user experience, technical infrastructure, and project goals, ensuring product vision is being met. Effectively communicates between groups, resolving questions.
• Understands the current and intended end to end customer experience.
• Work cross-functionally with on-shore Product Managers, Development and QA to launch products and enhancements.
• Provide transparent communication with all stakeholders Identify and optimize process improvements between onshore and offshore teams.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of product development management experience with customer facing applications.
• Should possess Telecom Cable Datacom, Backend Billing expertise.
• Should have Figma, Jira, Confluence, Product Backlog Management Domain experience.
• Billing & Revenue Management, Devices, Networks is nice to have.
• Understands best practices in product development and the cable or telecommunications industry.
• Ability to learn and understand technical complexities quickly Ability to manage frequent change.
• Ability to listen and reflect understanding of project goals Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks.
• Ability to solve problems, showing good judgment and thoughtfulness Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner.
• Ability to quickly identify blockers and escalate issues Ability to provide transparency into progress and status.
• Personal leadership and a desire to create a culture that enables exceptional outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business or technical discipline; MBA or master’s or advanced business degree preferred.
