Class 1 Tanker Driver - Clean Harbors - Delta, BC

Our Delta, BC location is currently looking for a Class 1 Truck Driver (Tanker Driver) to join their safety conscious team! The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe transportation of hazardous waste from a generator/facility to a Clean Harbors facility and/or an outside disposal facility.

• Provides high levels of customer service to new and current customers;
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; 
• Maintains daily logs, trip reports and vehicle inspection reports;
• Maintains and cleans assigned company equipment.
• Hauls Hazardous and Non Hazardous Waste in a safe manner; 
• Works on multiple pieces of equipment: Class 1 Dry Vans, Tanker units, Vacuum Trucks.
• Wears respirator for work.
• Works with manual transmissions.

• Valid Class 1 driver’s license required;
• Previous experience with manual transmission is required;
• Previous hazardous waste related experience preferred;
• Previous experience operating Dry Van or 53' Trailers is required; 
• Previous experience with tanker trucks or fluid hauling required;
• Previous experience operating Vacuum truck and/or Hydrovac truck is an asset; 
• Valid safety tickets such as First-Aid, H2S Alive, OSSA are an asset;
• Must be able to travel 10-20% overnight throughout the year; 
• Must be clean shaven to wear a respirator while working;
• Must be clean shaven for a respirator fit test;
