Registered Nurse Lead-Acute Phys Rehab-Full Time - Christus Health - Shreveport, LA

Summary:

The rehabilitation team lead is responsible for assigning patients, monitoring room turnaround, addressing patient/family concerns, assisting with oversight of associate work performance and monitoring the usage, ordering and stocking supplies. The rehabilitation team lead is responsible for utilizing the rehabilitative nursing process to assess, implement, coordinate and evaluate patient care activities and practices rehabilitation nursing by caring for individuals with disability and/or chronic illness to attain and maintain maximum function. With other clinical associates and healthcare disciplines, the rehabilitation team lead collaborates to meet the needs of the patient using appropriate resources to ensure quality, safe, and cost-effective care. Based on the rehabilitative nursing theory, the rehabilitation team lead designs and implements treatment strategies that are related to self-care, promote physical, psychosocial, and spiritual health.

Requirements:

• Associate Degree
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting Minimum of 1 year of experience overseeing work of assigned units.
• Current Louisiana RN license
• BLS provider required.

7am-7pm
